About Graham

Geared up on Denali

I started taking photographs many years ago (over 40) as  purely a means of remembering walks, initially in the UK, and the views encountered. As a “happy snapper” my slide collection grew – my initial photography, as with most discerning photographers at the time, were usually recorded on good old Kodachrome slide film – possibly the best film ever! As digital photography evolved, and Kodachrome slide film became obsolete, then the time came to invest in a digital camera. The cameras which are used are normally nothing fancy, either a fairly standard compact or, more recently, a mirrorless CSC camera from the Panasonic Lumix stable. RAW images are now “developed” in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom which is a powerful tool for enthusiastic photographers.

Other than that, there’s not much more to say, except that I have also dabbled for a few years with underwater photography whilst Scuba diving around the UK and also on various coral reefs around the world. Some of these images can be found on the sister website – www.subsea-images.co.uk.

I hope that you enjoy the images – comments are most welcome and can be sent via the form on the Contact page  or by e-mail to graham@gbarker.photography. Please also contact me should you be interested in purchasing any image on this website either in digital format or as a print.

Many thanks for your interest
