Alor Dive resort is actually situated on Pantar Island and is a couple of flights east from Bali. It is a lengthy journey but it is probably one of the best dive resorts that we visited – the resort was well run, the chalets clean and tidy, the food of a good standard and the diving superb! The reefs in the Pantar Straits were some of the most colourful and healthy that we have seen – and the fish life prolific from the smallest of critters to the largest pelagics (seasonal!). Overall a highly recommended dive resort and diving location. The images were taken back in 2012 on a small compact digital camera so the quality may not be the best, but I think that they give a good impression of the resort and the diving.
